Red Chill Wins at Arlington May 3rd, 2008

In the 6th race, RLR alum Red Chill, out of RLR mare Arctic Lady, won a 1 mile race on the synthetic surface. He had to come five wide to rally and his jockey lost his whip crossing the wire, but he was able to win by almost 2 lengths. He was ridden by E. Show Me Your Beads . . . A Winner April 24th, 2008

Show Me Your Beads ran in the 2nd race on Hawthorne's card Thursday. The 1 mile and 70 yard race was run on the dirt. Show Me Your Beads trailed the pack in the 7th position to the 3/4 pole. He made a move in the turn, was badly shut off in the stretch, but rallied around the outside to win by 3/4 of a length. He was ridden by Tanner Riggs and is trained by Brian Williamson.


Belle Charme Breaks Maiden April 21st, 2008

This filly, by VICAR out of RLR alum Charming Danzig, made her 3 year-old debut in Hawthorne's 3rd race on the card, after a freshening at Manor Valley Farm in Versailles, KY. She broke sharply and made her way to the front. She was headed but drew clear in the deep stretch to win by three lengths. She was ridden by Chris Emigh and trained by Brian Williamson.


Rite Moment Wins G2 Bed O'Roses Handicap April 19th, 2008

The 9th race on Aqueduct's card was the Grade II 52nd Running of the Bed O'Roses Handicap. In a field of six, RITE MOMENT, out of RLR mare Moments of Joy, broke from the third post position. She stalked the leader, took over at the half mile pole, and, after changing leads in the deep stretch, continued on to win by 1-1/2 lengths. RITE MOMENT increased her bankroll to over $300,000; this victory makes her fifth win for the 2008 year. She was ridden by Rajiv Maragh, trained by Gary Contessa and owned by Winning Move Stable. Camera Ready Wins Allowance at Hawthorne April 13th, 2008

Camera Ready, by DISTORTED HUMOR out of RLR mare Charming Jenny, won the fifth race on Hawthorne's card, an allowance going 6 furlongs. She stalked the leader much of the race, got out a bit in the turn after being bumped slightly but rallied in the stretch to win by 1-1/2 lengths. She was ridden by E.E. Perez and trained by Brian Williamson.


Future Starlet Foals in Pennsylvania April 11th, 2008

Future Starlet, owned by Louis Smith and RLR, Inc., foaled a colt by ACTION THIS DAY at Land of Believe Farm in Pennsylavania, becoming our first PA bred. Both the mare and colt are doing well.


Jazz Quest Illinois Champion Three-Year-Old Colt/Gelding April 1st, 2008

JAZZ QUEST, an RLR alum by Jambalaya Jazz out of Angel's Our Star (sister to RLR mare's HUMOROUS MISS and Sobresaliente) by Broad Brush, was name the 2007 Illinois Champion Three-Year-Old Colt/Gelding and the 2007 Reserve Champion Male Turf Horse.


Original Spin Delivers Filly March 30th, 2008

Rite Moment Wins Grade 2 Distaff March 22nd, 2008

The Distaff Handicap was the 9th race on Aqueduct's card Saturday. RITE MOMENT, by VICAR out of RLR mare Moments of Joy, raced close, came on the outside in the stretch to win by a length. Camera Ready Wins in Snow Storm March 21st, 2008

In the 4th and final race at Hawthorne Friday, where racing was canceled due to weather, Camera Ready was victorious. With snow on the track and significantly affecting vsibility, this filly took control from the beginning and crossed the wire 6 lenghs in front of her nearest competitor. She was ridden by E.E. Perez and she is trained by Brian Williamson.


Charming At Last Wins At Hawthorne March 17th, 2008

RLR alum Charming At Last, by HOME AT LAST, won the first race on the card St. Patrick's Day. She settled well, moved in the far turn, and won the 1 mile 70 yards race by 6-1/4 lengths. Rite Moment Wins Limit Stakes by 13-1/4 Lengths March 6th, 2008

The 8th race on the card at Aqueduct Thursday was the Limit Stakes for fillies and mares 4 and up going 1 mile 70 yards. RITE MOMENT, out of RLR mare Moments of Joy, stumbled at the gait but regained her composure, rating just off the pace a bit wide. She drew away in the stretch to win by 13-1/4 lengths. Page Turner Delivers Her First Foal March 5th, 2008

Page Turner delivered in first foal, a colt by HOME AT LAST, at Nuckols Farm in Midway, KY. While the colt is doing well, the mare experienced colic and was taken to HDM for surgery on an intestinal twist. Her situation is guarded at this time.

Your Round Finishes 2nd in John Battaglia Memorial March 1st, 2008

The 11th race on the card at Turfway Park Saturday was the 26th Running of The John Battaglia Memorial. From the seventh post position, Your Round, by DISTORTED HUMOR out of Another Round, settled mid-pack. He began moving at the half and took the lead into the stretch, however he was caught late by the winner to finish 6-1/2 lengths in front of the rest of the runners. He was ridden by V. Lady of Blue Foals in Illinois February 17th, 2008

This morning, at Fairberry Farm in Illinois, Lady of Blue delivered a colt by Down The Aisle. It was a very difficult foaling, as the foal's head was turned backwards and he was incorrectly positioned for the birth. The mare is eating and foal is attempting to stand. Hopefully, time will heal both mare and foal.


Age of Silver Foals in New York February 16th, 2008

Age of Silver delivered a colt by INCLUDE at McMahon's Farm in Saratoga, New York this Saturday. The foal, almost two weeks premature, and mare are doing well.

JAZZ QUEST Places in The Fair Grounds Handicap (G3) February 9th, 2008

JAZZ QUEST, an RLR alum, made his 2008 debut in the 1-1/8 mile race the turf from the 4th post position. He stalked the pace through much of the race, came wide in the turn, and held on for the place. He was ridden by J.R. Velazquez, trained by Thomas Amoss, and owned by Richard C. Rite Moment Places in Correction Handicap February 9th, 2008

The 8th race on the card at Aqueduct on Saturday was teh 68th Running of the Correction Handicap. Rite Moment, out of RLR mare Moments of Joy, broke badly from the 3 hole, starting the race several lengths off the field. She spent most of the race in this same position, came very wide in the stretch, and, while not enough to catch the winner, was gamely along in time for the place. She was ridden by J.V. In the 6th race on the card at Santa Anita, RLR alum, Jambalaya Joy, by JAMBALAYA JAZZ out of RLR mare Moments of Joy, returned to the track after about six weeks. At the Keeneland November Sale the hammer fell on hip #2525, Irish bred Sand Pebbles, for $240,000.00. She became the newest member of the Reineman broodmare band. In foal to Johar, she has already settled into her new home at Lantern Hill Farm in Midway, KY.


Star Nurse Colt Sells for $240,000.00 November 6th, 2007

On the second day the the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale, hip #578, a bay colt by Forestry out of RLR mare Star Nurse sold for $270,000.00. Congratulations and best of luck to his new owners!


Role Play Wins at Churchill October 28th, 2007

This 2 year old colt out of RLR mare, Future Starlet (hip #2750 in the November Keeneland Breeding Stock Sale) won going 1 mile on the turf in the 4th race on the card. Allowed to set slow fractions, he was hooked in the stretch and gamely came back to win by a head. He was ridden by Brian J. Hernandez, Jr. and trained by Helen Pitts. Consolidator Colt Euthanyzed September 22nd, 2007

This weanling located at Nuckols Farm in Midway, by CONSOLIDATOR out of RLR mare, Drastic Demand by DISTORTED HUMOR, was euthanyzed after a long battle with pneumonia. Having lost his mother due to complications giving birth, the colt did well with a nurse mare. However, he was not able to overcome this illness depsite the extraordinary measures that were taken.


Belle of Beauty Suffers Aneurism September 20th, 2007

Belle of Beauty, residing at McMcahon's farm in Saratoga, suffered an aneurism and passed away. The mare had produced three foals to race, all of whom had been winners. She left behind a colt by NORTHERN AFLEET.


Call Me Chaotic Wins Again! September 19th, 2007

Your Round Shows in Grade 3 Summer Stakes September 16th, 2007

In the 4th race on the card at Woodbine, this colt, bred by Sharon Mitchell and RLR Stable, by DISTORTED HUMOR out of Another Round, finished a game 3rd in the Grade 3 event for Two Year Olds. This was only the colt's second start, after having broken his maiden in his career debut. Finishing 3rd by 2-1/2 lengths, the colt, after breaking in the air and some maneuvering, managed to rally in the stretch for the show by a neck. He was ridden by Corneilo Valasquez. Your Round Breaks Maiden in First Start August 26th, 2007

In the 7th race on the card at Ellis Park Sunday, this colt by DISTORTED HUMOR out of Another Round, owned by RLR Stable and Sharon Mitchell, broke his maiden in his first out. Going 1 mile on the turf, the colt was outrun going into the turn, went 6 - 7 wide in the stretch turn, but came along to win by 1-1/4 under urging. He was ridden by J. Roman Song's First Foal Wins at Saratoga August 1st, 2007

Tight Grip, by DISTORTED HUMOR out of RLR mare Roman Song, made his first appearance at Saratoga Race Course in the 7th race. After a bit of a false start, breaking through the gate, this colt composed himself, took the lead in the stretch, and dug in, when challenged, to win by a nose. His was ridden by J.J. Arundel Wins the Third Race at Arlington May 31st, 2007

At 1-1/8 miles on the turf, Arundel came running in the stretch to win the third race on Arlington's card. While she trailed the field for the first half, she began moving in the turn. Briefly stopped behind horses at the head of the stretch, jockey Jesse Campbell brought her on the outside to run down the leader to win by a neck. Ecclesiastic Wins Jaipur Stakes May 27th, 2007

ECCLESIASTIC won the 9th race on Belmont's card Sunday, The Jaipur Stakes (G3) was 6 fulongs run on the inner turf. First Victory At Arlington Meet May 26th, 2007

In the 8th race on the card Saturday, LAST GRAN STANDING became the first winner at the Arlington Meeting for RLR Stable. He ran most of the 6-1/2 furlong race sitting off the pace on the rail. Drama King Wins at Indiana Downs May 26th, 2007

In the 3rd race on the card, Drama King, by DISTORTED HUMOR out of RLR mare Future Starlet, won going 6 furlongs on the dirt. This gelding had patience, running in 6th place until the half. He came wide in the turn where he remained for the stretch run. He went on to win by 1-3/4 lengths. He was ridden by Timothy Houghton, trained by Barbara McBride and owned by Neal M. Allread.
