COLOR ME BLUE finished a game 2nd in the Essex H. at Oaklawn Park Saturday. The 8th race on Saturday's card was run at 1-1/16. The gelding was well rated under the guidance of I. Ocampo, began moving in the far turn, and came wide in the stretch run. While he was unable to match the winner ALTERNATION, incidentally by RLR alum DISTORTED HUMOR, COLOR ME BLUE finished 2nd almost 5 lengths ahead of his nearest competitor. She was ridden by D.J. McFadden and is trained by Wayne Catalano. |
