AGE OF HUMOR Shows in Silverbulletday - G3 February 20th, 2010

AGE OF HUMOR, by RLR alum DISTORTED HUMOR out of RLR mare Age of Silver, showed in the Silverbulletday Stakes - G3 at the Fairgrounds. The 1-1/16 race was run over a good track. This filly stalked the pace, dropped back and then cam on again for the show. She was ridden by Kent J. Desormeaux, trained by Michael Maker and owned by Twin Creeks Racing Stables, LLC. Two Foals in One Day! February 15th, 2010

At Lantern Hill Farm in KY, Granny Spinster foaled a colt by Rockport Harbor. Meanwhile at McMahons Farm in NY, Age of Silver foaled a colt by Read the Footnotes. All reports indicate that the mares and foals are doing well.


Ashen Lord - Still Winning February 7th, 2010

Flagged Wins Again January 30th, 2010

Flagged, out of RLR mare Age of Silver, won the 9th race on the card at Philadelphia Park Saturday. The race was contested at 1mi. 70 yds. on the dirt. Flagged had to circle the field a bit wide, was urged in the stretch run and was across the wire to win by a head. He was ridden by N. Credit Limit - First Winner of 2010 January 29th, 2010

In the 3rd race on Aqueduct's card Firday, this filly took control of the 6 furlong race on the dirt. Putting away a rival entering the stretch, she drew clear to win by 1-1/4 lengths. She was riddenby G. Saez and trained by Rick Violette.

AGE OF HUMOR Wins Busanda Stakes January 9th, 2010

AGE OF HUMOR, by RLR alum DISTORTED HUMOR out of RLR mare Age of Silver, won the 3rd race on Aqueduct's card Saturday. The Busanda Stakes represented this filly first attempt at two turns as well as her first appearance in a stakes race. From a ground saving rail position, she dominated the 1mi. 70yds from the start, although she was stalked most of the race by third place finisher Judge Sonya. She crossed the wire 1-1/4 lengths before her nearest competitor. She was ridden by A.R. Napravnik, trained by Steve Klesaris and owned by TYB Stable. Congratulations to the connections!


Grey Storm Wins at Golden Gate January 7th, 2010

Grey Storm, out of mare Another Round, won the 7th race on the card at Golden Gate Fields, The 1-1/16 claiming race was contested on the turf. RLR Bred Memorial Way Wins at First Asking December 20th, 2009

Memorial Way, a 2yo by RLR alum DISTORTED HUMOR out of RLR alum LADY OF PEACE, broke his maiden in the 1st race at Golden Gate Fields. Contested at 6 furlongs, he broke well and hung back. In the last race on Churchill's card, Cavan Thunder, a yearling purchase by this stable, won at 1 mile on a firm turf course. Stalking nicely in the third position under the control of jockey E.T. Baird, she moved to the leader's position with about a furlong to go, and held on gamely for the victory. She is co-owned with Thundering Mick Stable and trained by Anthony Mitchell. Color Me Blue Breaks Maiden November 12th, 2009

Color Me Blue won the last race on Hawthorne's card after more than a 1 year lay off. A maiden special weight contested at 6 furlongs, he was chasing from the beginning. Although wide for most of the trip, this gelding made a move on the turn and never looked back - driving in the stretch to win by 5-1/2 lengths. He was ridden by T. Dunnotarr Breaks Maiden November 8th, 2009

Dunnotarr broke his maiden in the 6th race on Hawthorne's card. Animo De Valeroso's First Stakes Winner from His First Crop October 31st, 2009

HE'S BONAFIDE, by Reineman Stallion Animo de Valeroso, is the first stakes winner for the sire and comes from his first crop to race who are now 3yos. On a sloppy track at 1-1/16 at Hawthorne, Last Demand, by Reineman stallion HOME AT LAST out of RLR mare Drastic Demand, crossed the wire a length in front of competitors to achieve back to back victories. He was well placed on the inside and certainly took his share of dirt in the face, but, at the head of the stretch as the rail opened a bit, he moved steadily passed competitiors and edged clear under urging. Antitrust Breaks Maiden at The Spa August 1st, 2009

Antitrust, purchased by this stable as a weanling at the Keeneland November Sale in 2006, broke his maiden in a 7 furlong race on the dirt in the 4th race on Saratoga's card. Well-placed in the middle of the pack, jockey J.R. Leparoux brought him wide into the stretch for room, made up ground in the midstretch, and was along in the end to win by 1/2 length driving. This horse is trained by Ian Wilkes.

Cavan Thunder, bought by RLR Stable as a yearling at Keeneland, placed in her first stakes race Saturday in the 9th race on Arlington's card. The filly was well placed many lengths behind the leaders in the 1-1/2 mile race run on a good turf. She moved along into the turn and held the lead at the beginning of the stretch. She easily held her place position, although passed by another filly in the stretch won. WAR EMBLEM July 13th, 2009

Contrary to unfounded and unsubstantiated reports circling various blogs on the internet, WAR EMBLEM continues to perform his duties at Shadai Stallion Stalion in Japan. The Thoroughbred Daily News made a report this day regarding his current status. And, although he is certainly atypical in performance of his duties, representatives from Shadai indicate that they are pleased with his progress and that the stallion is doing well. While his progeny are significantly fewer in numbers than is customary for a stallion of his popularity, his unique approach to breeding (where he selects the mares he will breed rather than the humans selecting for him) seems to be a recipe for success - making him one of the leading 3rd crop sires in 2008. This information is consistent with other trustworthy reports that we have recieved.

Tight Grip Win on Sloppy Track May 7th, 2009

Tight Grip, by RLR Alum DISTORTED HUMOR out of RLR mare Roman Song, won the first race on Belmont's card Thursday. The 1 mile race run on a sloppy track had originally been scheduled for the turf. Although bumped at the start and last for a time, Tight Grip made a move in the turn going about four wide, was ahead by the mid stretch and drew clear to win by 5-3/4 lengths. He was ridden by J. Silver King Goes Wire to Wire May 5th, 2009

Silver King, by RLR alum DISTORTED HUMOR out of RLR mare Age of Silver, won the 8th race on a sloppy track at Philadelphia Park.  Silver King was never really threatened and crossed the wire 4-1/4 lengths ahead of the next contestant in the 1 mile race. In the 6th race on opening day at Arlington Park, He's Bonafide, by RLR stallion Animo de Valeroso, broke his maiden going 1-1/16 on the all weather surface. Your Round, by RLR alum DISTORTED HUMOR out of co-owned RLR mare Another Round by Affirmed, finished 2nd in the 79th running of the Ben Ali (G3). The 8th race on Sunday's card was run at 1-1/8 on the all weather. The colt stalked the pace for most of his trip and split horses to make his bid, finishing along for the place. Joy Street, by STREET CRY out of Moments of Joy by Lost Code, was taken to Rood & Riddle Saturday afternoon for colic. Early Sunday morning she was sent into surgery where they discovered damage to her intestines was too severe to save her. She was euthanyzed.
