COLOR ME BLUE finished a game 2nd in the Essex H. at Oaklawn Park Saturday. The 8th race on Saturday's card was run at 1-1/16. The gelding was well rated under the guidance of I. Ocampo, began moving in the far turn, and came wide in the stretch run. While he was unable to match the winner ALTERNATION, incidentally by RLR alum DISTORTED HUMOR, COLOR ME BLUE finished 2nd almost 5 lengths ahead of his nearest competitor. RLR bred Extract won the 7th race on the card at Oaklawn Park. She was placed mid-pack by jockey Lyndie Wade for the 1mi. dirt race. Heading into the second turn, she was asked and responded. Extract was about five wide when she hit the head of the lane and crossed the wire four in front - going away. She is trained by Karl Broberg and owned by Danny Caldwell. Granny's Tale foaled a chestunut colt by SMARTY JONES. He is the first foal for this mare and he is this programs first PA bred. WynOaks Farm reports both mother and son are doing well.

Page Turner, a resident of Nuckols Farm in Midway, KY, delivered the first foal of the season. She had a bay filly by OFFLEE WILD. Mare and foal are doing well.

After a relaxing first half, COLOR ME BLUE, under the guidance of I. Ocampo advanced in the second turn.
