Arctic Eva Wins Again
The 7th race on Calder's card was a 1-1/16 allowance optional claiming on the turf and Arctic Eva, daughter of DISTORTED HUMOR, went wire to wire. Under jockey L. Saez, she was all out in the stretch run to hold off for a victory by a nose. She is trained by Phil Gleaves.

Midwinter Breaks Maiden
Midwinter broke her maiden in the 4th race on Arlington's card contested at 5-1/2f. on the all weather surface. She went wire to wire and crossed the finish 2 lengths in front of her nearest competitor. She was ridden by Shane Sellers and trained wy Wayne Catalano.

Color Me Blue Takes Blue
Color Me Blue won the 8th race on Arlington's Sunday card. He stalked the leaders in the 1-1/8 mi. race over the all weather surface. In the far turn he made a steady advance and at the head of the stretch began clearing the leader. He opened up a safe lead in the final furlong and crossed the wire under the hand of Michael Baze about 3 lenghs ahead of his nearest rival. He is trained by Brian Williamson.

Connor's Shadow - Winner Again!
Connor's Shadow, by Reineman Stallion, Powerful Goer, won the 1st race on Arlington's Friday card. The filly led the field, in wire to wire fashion, over teh 6-1/2 furlongs over the all weather surface. Despite the rider, Michael Baze losing his whip, he and the filly were able to cross the wire 3-3/4 length ahead of their nearest competitor. The filly is trained by Brian Williamson.

RLR alum, All Joking Aside, made a return to the winner's circle after capturing the 3rd race on Arlington's Friday afternoon card. He went wire to wire in the 5-1/2f. race on the all weather surface. He was ridden by Jesus Castanon, trained by Tammy Domenosky, and owned by Alan and Beverly Kasdan.
